According to the printed text at the bottom, this note was paid off with five $100 bonds; the stamp on the note says this was paid off on December 17, 1918.

Warranty deed prepared for W. D. C. Burney and Edward B. Leigh for the purchase of a piece of land for the sum of $1,280 paid by Leigh to Burney; the specified land being purchased was "known as Survey No. 3 for 640 acres of land."

The deed states that the land being purchased is situated on Verde Creek in Kerr County; the rest of the paragraph details the land, its borders, and size. Finally, the deed includes statements acknowledging that C. F. Bonnell did appear to the clerk to perform this action.

In this agreement Bonnell is putting up his flock of goats and sheep, as well as his stock of cattle, as collateral to secure the payment on this note; if the debt is not paid Schreiner has the authority to sell the property. Attached is a certificate acknowledging that the copy of this document has been filed; also there is a statement printed at the bottom stating that this agreement is "given in renewal of balance owing by us to said Chas. Schreiner Bank on a certain note of date the 17th July, 1922."

Huntoon, in which McCoy agrees to sell "to the party of the second part all that certain tract or parcel of land which the said Jay McCoy purchased from J. R. Herndon." Huntoon agrees to pay $2,800 for the land with $500 in the form of a "Second Liberty Loan Coupon Bond" and the rest when the deed is delivered.
