[George O'Brien Millard School]

Postcard of George O'Brien Millard School with students in front of it. On the right side of the postcard can be seen a statue of George O'Brien Millard and a playground. The George O'Brien Millard School was a public elementary school in Beaumont started about 1910 and sometimes known as just Millard School. George O'Brien Millard was a prominent Beaumont citizen who helped develop the public school system in Beaumont. Printed on the top left of the postcard is "Geo. B. Millard School, Beaumont, Texas." Handwritten on the back of the postcard, "All O.K. Weather perfectly grand and things are lovely. I return to E.T June 12. Wouldn't you like to see me? Love to Aunt Lizzie & all. Hazel." The card is addressed to Mr. James Mortin, Cochituate, Mass.

Postcard of the front of the stone Alamo, described as "Alamo, San Antonio, Texas." The letter on the back reads, "Is all of Texas as hot as this? Are all your beauties now fed? Are you coming back to Rauie this season? Leo E." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFadden Mrs. H. C. Duncan 5th Ave. + 15th St. Huntington, W. Va."
