Graham Flat Enclosure

Photograph of the Graham Flat Enclosure on the west end of Graham Flat in the east part of the Big Game Pasture. Flats site (loamy bottom in excellent condition, light utilization). Flattened appearance of vegetation near enclosure is largely due to characteristic lodging of big bluestem, plus some trampling and bedding damage by buffalo.

Mulching Detention Dam

Native grass seed was seeded with a Brillion Seeder. Then prairie hay bales were spaced so as to accomplish a uniform amount per acre.

Chemical Hand Spreader Demonstration by Jim Gassoway
