Interview with C. R. Gross, civil servant and Army Air Corps veteran. The interview includes Gross' personal experiences at Hickam Field with the Finance Detachment during the Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Interview with Carl Denmon, African-American alumnus of North Texas State University. The interview includes Denmon's personal experiences about childhood in Houston, Texas and undergraduate education at Wiley College. Additionally, Denmon discusses his employment as band director at Fred Moore High School in Denton, graduate studies in Music and Education at NTSU, his career with and retirement from Dallas County Community College, and his perceptions of changes in Denton and at North Texas over forty years.

Interview with Linda Pina, a cousin of UNT interviewer Francis Bravo from Fort Worth, Texas, interviewed for for the Mexican American Women's Educational Experience project. Pina discusses growing up, school, her parents' divorce, and her own children and their education. In appendix is Bravo and Pina's family tree.

Interview with Martin Chambers, a United States Army veteran from Milam, Texas. Chambers discusses his experiences as a prisoner-of-war of the Japanese during World War II and as a member of the 26th Brigade and eventually the 2nd Battalion, 131st Field Artillery, also known as the "Lost Battalion."
