Letter from I. H. Kempner to W. E. Stone discussing Senate Bill, which would create a new medical college. He is against the bill and believes the money would be better spent improving the medical college already in Galveston. He argues that there is a high rate of tuberculosis among medical students and that this justifies keeping the medical college where it is. He suggests that Camp Wallace could be acquired to house and treat tuberculosis patients.
