Article describes how, to reduce the conceptual ambiguity in interdisciplinary knowledge organization systems (KOSs) and enhance interdisciplinary KOS management, this paper proposes a framework for interdisciplinary semantic drift (ISD) detection based on the normal cloud model (NCM). The research indicates the meaning of an interdisciplinary concept will drift from the high KPE discipline to the low KPE discipline as long as interdisciplinary knowledge potential differences (KPD) exist between these two related disciplines.

This article reports the first empirical investigation of various dimensions of organization and representation of recorded knowledge and information in language archives. The study used a combination of semi-structured interviews and content analysis. Results demonstrate that, while some of the phenomena related to organization of information in language archives are specific to these types of archives, others are more typical and have been addressed by libraries in past research and practice.

This study reveals the impact of learning through technology in the English language.

This article is an exploratory study providing empirical data on language archive user needs and supports some anecdotal evidence of known issues facing language archive end-users, depositors, and managers in primarily academic contexts.
