Color halftone postcard printed on textured linen paper showing Pine Island, Caddo Lake, near Marshall, Texas. A small motor boat with three passengers is moving across the water, and the shore in the background is covered with bushes and trees. Printed on the bottom of the image is the title, "Pine Island, Caddo Lake, Marshall, Texas -- 6." Printed between the message and address sections is: "Pub. by Gene Holder, Marshall, Texas. National Color Post Card Made in U. S. A. by E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, Wis., (DDF)." The postmark on the back is dated 1947, and the card is addressed to Mr. Stewart Anspacher, Seven Valleys, Penn.
