Boggy Flats

Photograph looking north of junction in road to Cut-throat Cap and Sugar Creek Spring. During drought period of 1953-56 this area was dominated by short grasses. Note the present vegetation containing a high percentage of little bluestem resulting from good management coupled with favorable climatic period.
