[Clipping: Editor Pleads for Immediate Action On 12-Point Gambling Bill -- Signed by C. C. Wade]

Editorial from the February 21, 1961 issue of The Baptist Standard, detailing what happened during the hearing on House Joint Resolution 4 and asking that people contact their representatives to oppose the bill. There is a pre-printed letter on the editorial for one to sign and fill in their representative; It is signed by C. C. Wade and addressed to Truett Latimer. The last sentence of the third paragraph is subject to an annotation that reads, 'This is good! Don't give up! You have our prayers!'. The other side of the paper contains an article titled 'Safeguards Against Secularization'.

Fellbaum advises of a routine inspection by a Clerical Audit Supervisor and the requirements regarding the inspection. He advises in a postcript that Mr. T. N. Carswell, Clerical Audit Supervisor, will advise the board who the Supervisor will be and when he will visit their board. Handwritten notation confirms this correspondence was sent to all Dallas County Labor Boards except No. 1.
