Beaded evening dress

Dress of color blocked blue, pink, and orange silk chiffon gently patterned from the bust to hem with multicolored butterflies, exotic flowers, and blue and green blades of grass. The full-length dress is embellished with horizontal stripes of bugle beads that are spaced farther apart as they reach the bottom of the dress; butterflies, flowers, and grass blades are embellished with seed and bugle beads. Band collar; straight, unstructured silhouette. Top of dress is blue, middle is pink, and bottom is orange. Center-back zip closure with two hook and eyes at collar; 15" slit at right side. Built-in shoulder pads. Long sleeves are unlined; balance of dress is lined in light mauve rayon. Fabric/care label inside back at upper neckline: "Out Cloth 100% Silk / Lining 100% Rayon / Size / Made In Japan / Dry Cleaning Only"

Dress in modified caftan style of navy blue silk and silk chiffon with butterfly print. Full length. Sleeveless silk under dress has matching butterfly pattern. Over dress of chiffon has long set-in sleeve on right and draped opening on left creating a toga-like effect. Hemline and draped sleeve bordered in 4" band of light aqua blue organza with under band of hot pink organza. Scooped back has center opening of 10 faux self-covered buttons and loops with closure of 5 covered snaps. Lined in navy jacquard rayon with "Hanae Mori" print. A) Dress of black shadow-stripe silk chiffon with red abstract print. Bound, rounded neckline; street length. Long sleeves with snap at hem. Elastic casing 3/4 inch at waist. Six 3/8" covered buttons with self loops down bodice center back. Overskirt gathers from waistline, undulating from left front and back, 10 inches in length, graduates to 20 inches on right side. Slit 9" up from left side underskirt hem. Padded shoulders. Lined in black synthetic. Dress is constructed with an underskirt extending from the natural waist of gray with white woven stripe and textured brown vertical striped cotton; overskirt is of heather brown/rust cotton matching main body of dress with open sides and brown button closure.
