[Postcard of a Fire Alarm Response, Lima, Ohio]
Postcard of the Lima Fire Department rushing to a fire in their horse-drawn wagons, moving diagonally to the right towards the foreground. Bystanders on the street have cleared a straight path for the fire fighters. On the back of the postcard, the sender has left a handwritten message that says, "Your fire card received with pleasure. That is one of the finest pieces of auto fire apparatus I have ever seen. Are you making a special collection of fire views or do you care for city views [?]. I have some very fine views of the city I would be glad to send you as my fire views are very few. The steamer shown in this view is now drawn by 3 horses instead of 2. This is an old picture taken several years ago."
