This study explored the effects of counselor dress style and counselor and subject gender on clients' expectations about counseling. Two hundred fifty undergraduate students were given Tinsley's Expectations About Counseling questionnaire. Dress style was shown to have no effect on the expectations measured. Significant main effects were found for client gender, counselor gender and their two way interaction on the measures of responsibility, acceptance, confrontation, empathy, genuineness, tolerance, trustworthiness, concreteness, and immediacy. Post hoc analysis revealed that both male and female participants had higher expectations of female counselors than male counselors. Participants of both genders also expected female counselors to be more confrontive, genuine, trustworthy, concrete, and accepting than male counselors. They also had a higher expectation that counseling would address their immediate concerns.

This study examines the life of Margo Jones and the creation of the Dallas Theatre, later renamed the Margo Jones Theatre.

The underlying problem of the thesis is elucidating the relationship between the art object and philosophy. The thesis is organized into an introduction and four chapters. The introduction poses the need for a philosophical approach to the art object, and the phenomological method is briefly described. The first chapter defines and describes two basic structures found in the art object. The second chapter probes into the ontological structure of the art object in terms of form and media. The third chapter focuses on the relation of form and media evident in personal art works. The fourth chapter summarizes the content of preceding chapters and describes the relationship between the art object and the phenomological method, and discusses the significance of this relationship to philosophy and mankind.

The investigation presented here was accomplished using agglutination and agar gel immunodiffusion techniques to compare Azotobacter agilis s 3at, A. chroococcum Italy AC 16, A. macrocytogenes St. M and A. vinelandii ATCC 12837. It was found that the agglutination titers differed sufficiently to allow partial identification of the four species. The homologous and heterologous systems studied by agar gel immunodiffusion tests showed that each of the four Azoto bacter species differed sufficiently in their soluble antigens to give distinct, identifiable patterns of antigen-antibody reactions on Ouchterlony agar plates. These studies also showed several antigens common to the four species tested and the resultant antigen-antibody cross reactions. The results of these investigations suggest that this approach opens a new avenue for the identification of the organisms of genus Azotobacter and perhaps, by extension, the family Azotobacteraceae.
