There is a lake in the foreground with many boats on it, walkways lined with lamp posts along the water, and numerous red buildings in the background with landscaping and fountains. Correspondence on the card reads,"This looks well on a card, but in reality it is bum, in big letters. It is addressed to Miss Rosa Bassano, S. Mill St., Paris, Texas and postmarked Norfolk, Va on Sept 22, 1907.

Postcard with a photograph of a view looking down "Lover's Lane" positioned underneath a grove of trees; the caption reads: "You had better bring Harry down here. What you think?" The note on the reverse side of the card reads: "Am having some joy - so sorry you would not ride with me Sunday. Lots of girls here. I leave tomorrow. At home about Sun./six."

Postcard of a manilla-colored four story building obscured by a treeline. Stuart Hall's history is written as follows, "Stuart Hall is a new name given to the Virginia Female Institute of Staunton. It was founded in 1848, and is one of the oldest educational institutions for girls in the country. There are four massive buildings, surrounded by about four acres of beautiful land, located on an elevation of 1,450 feet above the sea level, and midway between the picturesque James and Shenandoah Rivers." The letter reads, "We reached here 7 this a. m. Write me soon with love, Sig." The postcard is addressed to "Miss Mamie McFaddin 1141 3rd Ave Huntington, W. Va."
