[Samantha Ekberg's graduation photo]
Photograph of UNT College of Visual Arts and Design graduate Samantha Ekberg during UNT's Fall 2020 commencement ceremony. She is wearing graduation robes and a UNT branded face mask. The ceremony was done earlier than usual - before fall break - to follow the university's decision to move all classes and otherwise online for the rest of the semester after the fall break. During this ceremony there were multiple speakers and a looping video featuring the graduate's names, however students did not walk the stage or otherwise move. The ceremony was outside in Apogee Stadium, was for certain colleges within UNT, but unlike usual both graduate and undergraduate students were included. Graduate students are seen sitting on the field, and undergraduate students were placed in the stands by name, socially distanced.
