This is a research paper written by Jesus Cordero for an American History Class at Marfa High School in 1974. It gives a first hand account of the interesting life of Dionisio Marquez Cordero. As a child and young man, most of his family was killed in Mexico during the revolution. He eventually came to Texas, married three times and had 12 children. He had many interesting jobs. He became a US citizen in 1962.
