Patent for a simple and inexpensive hame-fastener that has "two adjustable parts, one of which is provided with hooks to be engaged by means on the other part" (lines 11-13). The invention is adjustable and does not unlock or disengage accidentally but can easily be unlocked on purpose.

Patent for a new and improved hopple. This design consists in the combination of the surcingle, the bands connected to the bottom thereof, the supporting straps secured to one of said bands, and the knee-bands constructed of stiff leather in semi-cylindrical form, attached to said straps and having the securing-straps" (lines 37-42).

Patent for a drinking fountain. "The object of the invention is to provide a drinking fountain having a drinking trough to which water will be automatically supplied as the same is removed by the stock." Illustration included.

Patent for receptacle or tank for underground storage purpose is to use metal to construct a tank for strength to resist the pressure upon its walls. To protect the tank from the corrosive action of the earth by lining the surface of a tank “with a protective coating composed of alternate layers of asphaltum and tarred-felt paper, a fabric layer imposed upon the outer layer of asphaltum, and a final layer of asphaltum covering the fabric.” (Page 2, lines 109-113.) Patent for pipe-painting machine. The invention details improvements in devices for painting pipes or "other elongated substantially cylindrical objects". The object was designed to create minimal waste when operating the device.

Patent for improvements to certain components of agricultural machines, particularly the plow, planter, and stalk cutter attachments.

Patent for a new and improved planter. This design consists in "the combination, with the side bars of the main frame, the plow-standard connecting the front ends thereof, and the covering board connecting the rear ends of the side bars, of the handles secured to the side bars near the front end of the machine, the rectangularly-bent brace-bar secured to the side bars and to the handles, and the centrally-bent brace-bar secured to the side bars and the brace-bar" (lines 86-95).
