It consists, "with the beam and standard, of the triangular brace having a series of adjusting holes at its upper end and at its lower front end curved upwardly, forwardly, and downwardly and at its extremity slotted, the adjusting-bolts . . . passed through the adjusting-holes and slot, [and] the steel shoe" (lines 6-13).
