Patent for bale bend fastening that includes a winding-key engaging the lapped ends of a bale-band and a lock for retaining the winding key against the reverse movement after the latter has been turned to wind the connected ends of the band for the purpose of taking up the slack in the latter (Lines 8-15)

Patent for a bicycle-holder that holds the bicycle upright. It consists of "a pair of plates clamped upon a portion of the frame of a bicycle, two pairs of ears formed integral with and depending from said plates, one pair of ears being formed convcavo-convex to form a socket between them and constructed with semicircular notches in their lower edges, a rod having a ball or spherical body on its upper end that is located and held for movement in the so formed socket, a lug formed integral with the lower end of one of the remaining pair of ears, and an arm pivoted between said remaining pair of ears, said arm having a bifurcated lower end that engages the rim or tire of the front wheel of the bicycle" (lines 40-54).

Patent for improvements to a center gage and inside micrometer to "provide central support for dividers" (lines 15-16) including illustrations.

Patent for improvements in cutters where the cutter is "specially adapted for smoothing the inside of barrels, kegs and the like, which are formed from wooden staves" (lines 11-14); includes illustration.

Patent for "improvements in fence or other posts and bases thereof, and especially telegraph and telephone posts" (lines 13-15). The design involves "a minimum amount of lumber" and "a maximum amount of strength" (lines 17-19). It claims further benefits, such as "preventing early decay" (lines 22-23) allowing "perfect drainage" (lines 25-26), and facilitating the re-use of old posts.

Patent for a flexible metallic hose to be used in places where both "flexibility and indestructibility are necessary" (lines 17-18). Illustrations included.

Patent for a stay bolt for steam boilers which is flexible on both ends.

Patent for locomotive-boiler furnaces with an easy to remove mounted fire box

Patent for a fuse plug for prolonged usage by allowing a new wire to be substituted to replace melted wire. This fuse plug has a second wire that can be triggered into circuit.

Patent for a new and useful instrument and device to "provide hunters and fishermen with a light, cheap, clean, convenient, and secure means of carrying their game and fish" (line 18 -20).

Patent for a grain polisher designed to remove foreign objects from rice and other similar grains. Illustrations included.

Patent for "new and useful improvement in the Sockdolager Fish-Hook" (lines 4-5), including illustration.

Patent for "a simple and convenient device for supporting and carrying a parasol or umbrella in such a way as to leave the hands free, and which will enable the parasol or umbrella to be tilted or inclined forward or back, or to either side, as may be required" (lines 8-14).
