Walter, regarding an article in the "Our City" column concerning the formation of a Latin American Squad. Herrera insists that the so-called "Latin American Problem" is exaggerated and that most Latin Americans are not criminals. Herrera also states that LULAC, which opposes the creation of a Latin American Squad, stands to support the betterment and fair treatment of Latin Americans. The group, Herrera explains, serves as a liaison between Anglo-Americans and all Latin Americans for the purposes of cooperation not agitation.
