Letter from W. B. Hudson to Thomas F. Forrest discussing the replacement of a temporary certificate of honorary recognition with a permanent one. He explains that he had sent Mr. Forrest the temporary one because the certificate from the postmaster general in Washington had not arrived yet. He writes that he has enclosed it with his letter, along with a commendatory letter from the postmaster general.
