There is a store called "Wackers" on the right of the of the street, on the back of the postcard, Texas Highway 18-115 Kermit, Texas This street scene shows the modern, progressive, city of Kermit, Texas. Well known as a ranching area but with modern progress being spurred on by the oil industry. The Monohans Sandhills State Park is but a short drive to the South, also Big Bend National Park and Mexico (across the Rio Grande River) is printed.
