Photograph of the Men's Gymnasium on W Highland St across from where the Coliseum now stands. Men can be seen working on the roof. Several cars are parked by the curb. The text "B B 5014 - B" can be seen in the bottom left of the image. The gym is also known as “the pit.” The gym opened December 1, 1950, with a seating capacity of 4,500. The opening of this facility allowed spectators other than students to attend games and other programs. It was renamed the Ken Bahnsen Gym in 2005.

Photograph of the front entrance of the North Texas State College health service center, also known as the hospital. This building served as the site for the university's health service center from 1958 to 2006. It was located on the corner of Chestnut Street and Ave. C. It is a two-story, “T” shaped building which faces south. The building was demolished in 2007.
