Group photograph of the 131 Dance Band on stage in Sendai, Japan. The men are in three rows except for a trumpet player standing on the left and the pianist sitting at the piano on the right. The back row consists of six men, from left to right there are four trumpet players, a drummer and cellist. In the second row there are three trombone players. In the front row there are seven men, five saxophonists, and a guitar player all sitting behind wooden music stands. The seventh man in the front row is not behind a music stand nor holding an instrument. All the men wear dark collared uniform shirts and pants.
