The attached letter is written to Dr. Jeff Davis, Executive Secretary, United Texas Drys from E. J. Miller, Judge, 35th Judicial District, Brownwood, Texas dated July 16, 1941. Miller reports on the proceedings regarding Ellison vs. Texas Liquor Board, advises to await the action of the Court of Civil Appeals and gives a brief itinerary of his travel and work to date and for the next two weeks requesting further remittance as soon as it may be convenient.
