Video recording from The Black Academy of Arts and Letters recorded during their Army Visit rehearsals on June 27. The video features the orchestra and choir rehearsing for their performance and features behind the scenes footage of the crew. Curtis King, TBAAL founder and president, is seen helping orchestra conductors set up the stage and introduces the orchestra. The performance was used to showcase the talents of young people in the Dallas area for a professional audience. This is tape number six of the series.

Phelps interviews Tammye Nash on her experiences as a journalist working for The Dallas Voice. Nash speaks on her involvement with the court case of Mica England, a lesbian woman denied a position with the Dallas Police Department due to her sexuality. Nash speaks in depth on the state of Oak Lawn and Dallas gay and lesbian bars during the 1980s and 1990s. Nash and Phelps close by discussing the current state of LGBT rights in the state of Texas.
