Aten says "Howdy- I arrived at camp at 12:00 which is the usual time. Joe, the feathered hat man, is being laid off his job this weekend for they are finished. It was rather warm sleeping last evening. Just had breakfast- cantaloupe, toast, dried beef and post toasties bran flakes. The apples smell good in my locker. Can't say when I will be home, maybe Friday evening. If so I will have a ride. Woodrow."
