[Rodeo Cowboy Participating in the Bull Riding Event]

Copy photo of an African-American rodeo cowboy. The cowboy is participating in bull riding. He is wearing boots, dark colored chaps with white fringe trim, a light colored shirt with a number pinned on left shoulder and a straw cowboy hat. He has his left arm extended in the traditional bull riding manner. There are several cowboys standing/sitting on the wooden partitions in the background. Advertisement signs are visible above the top of the pens - one near center reads: "St. Pes Saddlery Pasadena" and the one on left "Swifts Plastic."

Gray folder from "The Plantation - Houston" written underneath a drawing of a two story plantation house with trees and landscape. Drawing is in maroon ink with trees in green. Also written at bottom "A Party-Pix Photo 'Where Texans Dine and Dance to Nationally Famous Orchestras". The back page of the folder has four slits for the picture corners (accession 2000.026.015a)to be placed. Frost, who is standing on the right side of the portrait, is wearing a dark knee length coat, dark pants, white shirt, dark colored ascot and his right arm is in a sling. Frost's left arm is behind his back. The photograph is mounted on a tan cardboard substrate with writing in pencil at bottom that reads: "Jeff McLemore, / Henry Frost". Text at bottom also reads: "Chas J. Wright 84 Main St. Houston, Texas". The back of the photograph is pink.
