This report is about the status of existing reduced dimensional models of the dynamics of the Louisiana Coastal Current. Local, wind-driven models reproduce credibly the flow variability during the winter season.

This report summary describes the objective of the research is to examine how offshore structures producing and processing hydrocarbons are removed from the Gulf of Mexico. Using this research, they developed a model to forecast the removal of offshore structures.
