This field was contour ridged with 25 ft. intervals and planted 4 kinds of native grasses during spring of 1936. Picture shows 3 year old Side Oat [sic] Grama. Special attention is given to tiny seedlings coming from the parent plants the second season. 30# per acres was planted.”
