On the front porch are other wood benches, wood chairs, plants, a shelf with University of Texas paraphernalia, and a life-size cardboard cutout of John Wayne. Handwritten notes on the back of the photograph give information about the house, such as when it was rebuilt in the 1990s, and its original location in Lampasas, Texas.
