From abstract: From September 15 to September 28, 1978, geoMetrics, Inc., collected 4320 line miles of high sensitivity airborne radiometric and magnetic data in Wyoming and Nebraska within two 1° x 2° NTMS quadrangles (Torrington and Casper).

The Midwestern Disaster Tax Relief Act of 2008 is intended to assist with the recovery from the severe weather that affected the Midwest during the summer of 2008. The Jobs, Energy, Families, and Disaster Relief Act of 2008 includes some similar provisions, but these are not limited to the Midwest disaster. The disaster relief in the three bills is similar to that provided to assist with the recovery from the 2005 hurricanes and the 2007 Kansas tornadoes. This report broadly discusses the disaster relief provisions in other relevant legislation.

From abstract: Results of a reconnaissance geochemical survey of the Alliance Quadrangle are reported. Field and laboratory data are presented for 543 groundwater and 523 stream sediment samples.

"Results of a reconnaissance geochemical survey are reported for the Sioux City Quadrangle, Nebraska; Iowa; South Dakota. Statistical data and areal distributions for uranium and uranium-related variables are presented for 119 groundwater and 542 stream sediment samples. Also included is a brief discussion on location and geologic setting."
