Abstract: The area was examined for a period of about two weeks during October and November 1958 by geologists of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission and the Instituto de Investigaciones Geológicas de Chile for the purpose of evaluating known uranium occurrences and determining the overall potential of the region for uranium.
