In the analysis and evaluation of the role of the elementary school supervisor, the purpose was (1) to investigate relationships which might exist between certain personal and professional background characteristics of elementary school supervisors and the activities in which they engaged, (2) to determine the activities in which elementary school supervisors engaged, (3) to determine emphasis placed upon those activities in which elementary school supervisors engaged, and (4) to evaluate those activities in which elementary school supervisors engaged.

An adequate diet, which is used for comparison, has been set up by the home demonstration agents of the Texas Extension Service...Recommendations are made to show how the average veteran farm family maybe supplement the present substandard dietary level with farm-produced foods...Data for this study have been procured and organized from a survey of twenty representative veteran farm families in the Aubrey, Texas, area. "The problem of this thesis is a comparative study of the educational and economic status of fifty government-aided men in Denton, Texas and fifty employed laborers in the same city. The term 'government-aided men' refers to men who receive direct aid from Federal relief in order to live and to support their dependents. Many are members of the CCC camp; but others receive their aid from the old-age pension fund, from W.P.A. projects, or other Federal organizations. Laborers are interpreted as men who do not hold 'white-collared' jobs...educational status is used to indicate the highest grade completed in school...the term economic status means the income of the men under consideration..This study is confined to certain men in Denton, Texas, and deals with only male whites between the ages of 21 and 65 years. The problem is not concerned with what the state should do or should not do, nor does it lead to any solution of existing conditions. The purpose of this study is to compare the personality traits of the physically handicapped children with the personality traits of normal children. An attempt will be made to answer two questions. First, how do physically defective children compare with Physically normal children in self-adjustment and social-adjustment? Second, is there an associated emotional or personality pattern which accompanies physical handicaps?

The purpose of this study was to compare the activities and achievements in college of a population of three groups of academically able students who participated in a high school honors program. The population consisted of (1) those who completed an honors program, (2) those who dropped out of an honors program, and (3) those who entered an honors program at a time later than the entry of the first two groups. This study was concerned with discovering distinguishing activities and achievements of the male and female members of the three groups through an analysis and comparison of data relative to the groups after their completion of two or more years of college.
