The Predictive Value of an English Achievement Test for Grades in Modern Foreign Languages
This study has as its objectives: (1) the determination of the degree of relationship between achievement in the study of English as measured by a standardized English achievement test and achievement in the study of foreign languages as measured by teacher's grades; (2) the determination of the amount of contribution to such a relationship of the achievement in various functional areas in the study of English as measured by the subtests of the English achievement test.

A Study on the Stability of Self-concept
There are two major purposes of this study. First, it will attempt to ascertain whether self-concept, as measured by a self-concept scale, will fluctuate significantly due to a recent ego inflating or deflating experience, and if so, how lasting and in what areas are the effects. Secondly, it will note whether or not the low self-concept individual is more susceptible to changes in self-concept due to these environmental changes than the high self-concept individual.

Ethnocentrism and Perceptual Ambiguity
Social scientists have been concerned for quite some time with the relationship between tolerance of perceptual ambiguity and ethnocentrism. Some investigations have approached the problem by utilizing ambiguous visual designs. A Study of Depth Perception Among Brain-injured, Familial and Idiopathic Mentally Retarded Subjects
In light of the conflicting data regarding depth perception and the retardate, it was the purpose of this study to reinvestigate whether or not significant differences exist in depth perceptual abilities among mental retardates. A standard depth perception apparatus was utilized to test the groups of brain-injured, familial and idiopathic subjects.

This study reports on an investigation to determine the applicability of the peer rating technique to Air Force ROTC cadets at North Texas State College which has an enrollment of approximately 7000 students. Stimulus Values of the Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test Designs
The purpose of this study is to investigate differences in the stimulus value of the Bender Gestalt designs. It is concerned with both differences in structural values and affective values of the nine figures. The investigation is primarily concerned with the reliability of such differences, and secondarily with the general nature of the differences in stimulus value.

The Effect of Chlorpromazine on Avoidance Learning in Rats
In this experiment it was hypothesized the (a) those organisms trained under the influence of chlorpromazine will perform a learned task (when tested) with more incorrect responses than a comparable group trained under "normal" conditions; (b) those organisms tested under the influence of chlorpromazine will perform a previously learned task with more incorrect responses than a comparable group of organisms tested under "normal" conditions.

Liberality toward the Negro as Related to Classification and School of Study
The purpose of the present study is to measure the amount of liberality of college students, freshman through graduate, in the schools of psychology and business administration at North Texas State University, toward the Negro. The Effect of Induced Motivation on the I.Q. Scores of Negro Children
The purpose of the present study was to further investigate the effects of motivation on the intellectual attainment of Negro children. In view of previous research and realizing the importance of related study on inventive and achievement, the following hypothesis was proposed: Inducement of motivation between pre-and post-administrations of Form A of the Peabody Picture Vocabulary Test would result in significantly greater magnitude of change in scores for the experimental group of Negro children than for the control group.

A Comparison of Miller Analogies Test Scores with Undergraduate and Graduate Grade-Point Averages of Graduate Students
The main purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the Miller Analogies Test scores of graduate school students and their undergraduate grade-point averages, as well as to find the relationship between Miller Analogies Test scores and the grade-point averages in graduate school of these students. Comparison of Male and Female Homosexuals and Heterosexuals on the Masculinity/Femininity Scale of the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Personality Inventory
In the present study it was hypothesized that male homosexuals would score significantly higher on the Masculinity/ Femininity scale of the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Personality Inventory than would heterosexual men and that female homosexuals would score significantly higher on the Masculinity/ Femininity scale of the Minnesota Multi-Phasic Personality Inventory than would heterosexual females.

The Goodenough Draw-A-Man Test as a Measure of Interpersonal Adjustment
Since the premises and history of the Draw-A-Man (DAM) seem to indicate a relationship between this technique and adjustment/maladjustment, and since Leary defines maladjustment in terms of interpersonal behavior, the problem to be studied is to attempt to quantitatively relate DAM scores with some objective measure of social adjustment or maladjustment in children.

The Effect of White Noise on a Visual Discrimination Task
Previous studies have demonstrated that in some instances certain types of auditory stimulation have facilitated a subject's ability at a visual task while in other instances, the subject's ability has been inhibited. The primary objective of this experiment was to investigate the effect of auditory stimulation upon a subject's performance on a visual discrimination task.
