Carswell advises that he wrote to her a month ago but did not have her given name correct and was concerned that she did not receive his letter. He explains that he is writing in hope that on her advice that Dr. Cyrus N. Ray will accept institutional care. The reverse side includes a blank purchase order of Abilene Machine Company, 1334-42 Pine STreet, Abilene, Texas.

Carswell expresses his appreciation for the letter from Muller expressing her concern for Dr. Cyrus N. Ray and advises that Mr. Dudly Ray of Lubbock "simply announced to me over the phone that he was here after a month's delay". He hopes that she can come to Abilene to appraise Dr. Ray's condition.
