The purpose of this study is to give the results of a testing program in the low seventh grade of an urban school wherein intelligence, personality, achievement, and socioeconomic tests were given. The primary purpose of the tests was to determine what influence, if any, the environmental factors played in the individual learning process, but attention was given to other phases of the learning process as well.

"It has been the purpose of this study to make an analysis of the recreational program at the Dallas County Juvenile Home...certain conclusions concerning the recreational program have been reached. 1. The principles upon which the recreational program is based are in line with the recommendations of the National Recreation Association. 2. In practice, recreation in the Dallas County Juvenile Home has not reached maximum efficiency. 3. The program is built largely to fill the needs of the majority of the boys who are detained at the home. 4. The program has been modified in some cases to meet the needs of the individual groups. 5. The recreation program serves as a means for the boys to express themselves; therefore, the supervisors and the case workers are able to establish better rapport with each boy. 5. The better rapport with each boy enables the case worker to determine the proper placement of the boy. 7. Through the efforts of recreation many personality adjustments have been made. 8. The purpose of this study was threefold: (1) to write a narrative account of the meaning, objectives, and functions of -auditorium work in public schools and to note the importance of providing for pupil participation in auditorium classes, and recommended practices in planning for and presenting programs in this phase of the educational situation; (2) to develop in detail the practices, procedures, and techniques contained in printed and mimeographed materials distributed by the Board of Education to auditorium teachers to serve as guides in conducting auditorium work in the elementary schools of Dallas, Texas; and (3) to evaluate these instructional materials in the light of modern practices, procedures, and techniques advocated by authorities in the field of auditorium work. A Comparison of Scores Made on the MMPI and CTMM by Two Groups of Juvenile Delinquents Apprehended for Auto Theft and a Group of Non-Delinquents

The problem of this study was to determine if juvenile delinquents who commit auto theft without an accomplice differ significantly in certain characteristics from those who commit such thefts with one of more confederates. The characteristics investigated were: (1) scores made on individual scales of the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory and (2) intellectual ability as measured by the California Short-Form Test of Mental Maturity. Furthermore, the same characteristics were examined to determine if a significant difference existed between each of the groups of juvenile delinquents and a group of juveniles who did not have a record of delinquency and attended Sunday School classes regularly.
