Thermal Cycling and Leakage Tests of 12-Inch Sodium Valves
Tests of 12-in. scdium valves for use in the Hallam nuclear pcwer facility are descrihed. The valves were thermally cycled at 680 to 1100 tained F in a sodium loop and periodically examined for across-the-seat leakage. Results are tabulated. A discussion of testing procedure and recommendations is included. (J.R.D.)
