This memorandum constitutes a final report of the study performed at the U. S. Waterways Experiment Station on a model of the outlet works for the Wappapello Dam The model was built undistorted to the linear scale ratio, model-to-prototype, of 1 to 25. The general purpose of the model study was to check the hydraulic characteristics of all elements in the design of the outlet works, and to develop means of correcting any uneconomic, unsafe, or undesirable conditions.

Musician Sue Morris appears as a singer at 6 min., 28 seconds.The film continues with footage of a B. F. Goodrich Store truck on fire in Oak Cliff (10 min., 34 sec.) and a jazz performance at El Centro College (13 min., 27 sec.). Postcard to Ruth White from C. D. W. The front is a photograph of a river lined with trees. It is identified as the James River in Galena, Missouri. The back contains a brief message telling Ruth that the writer has arrived in Galena and that he will be leaving later that day.

Letter to Linnet White from [D]orothy [D]odd. She sends her sympathies for the death of Linnet's mother and encourages Linnet to seek solace in religion. At the end of the letter there is a poem titled "Life of Faith."
