Letter from Albert K. Epstein to Mr. R. K. Brodice informing him of the events that occurred at the olemargarine industry hearing on emargol, mono- and di-glycerides. He mentions how some members of the industry attempted to use the word "glycerinated fat" when defining oleomargarine and how there was some confusion as to the correct proportions for monoglycerides and diglycerides in oleomargarine products and some suspicion as to the true content of them.

Letter from Dr. Meyer Bodansky to Dr. Louis M. Hellman, who is from the Johns Hopkins Hospital. The letter, which is dated October 5, 1939, concerns plans for testing a scientific method researched by the doctors and their friend, Dr. Levine, who, according to the letter, is drafting the tested method into a publication-friendly format.

Letter from Dr. Meyer Bodansky to Dr. Milan Logan, who is from the Department of Biochemistry in the College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. The letter, which is dated August 5, 1940, congratulates Dr. Logan on his acceptance to the Andrew Carnegie professorship of biochemistry at the University of Cincinnati.
