Mulching Detention Dam

Photograph of placing native grass mulch on detention dam. Site No. 14, Cavalry Creek, 2 miles west and 5 miles south of Cordell. 2.5 tons of native prairie hay is being placed by hand on the front slope of this site. Native grass seed was seeded with a Brillion Seeder. Then prairie hay bales were spaced so as to accomplish a uniform amount per acre.
