Patent for a bedstead that holds a bottom sheet taunt that can be used with existing bedsteads.

Patent for a new and improved churn. This design consists "[i]n combination with the base, the frame having the cross-bars, churn provided with a dasher-shaft, a second shaft passing through cross-bars and connected with the dasher-shaft, pinions . . . secured to the shaft and adapted to rest upon the cross-bars . . . a[nother] shaft journaled in [one of] the cross-bar[s], and a mutilated gear engaging the pinions" (lines 16-24).

Patent for a new and improved coupling for railroad cars. This design "relates to an improvement in car-couplings, and has for its object to provide a coupling by means of which the link will be held up and guided into the draw-head, and the coupling-pin held in position to be coupled and automatically thrown into engagement with the link" (lines 7-13).

Patent for a baling-press for cotton and uses a compression chamber and a head or compressor block to compress the cotton. The invention is more effective and more expeditious than other baling-presses.

Patent for an improved combined corn and cotton planters that "effectively carr[ies] out the duplex functions of planters of this class, which will possess advantages in point of simplicity, durability, effectiveness, and general efficiency" (lines 11-14).

Patent for an improved cigar-package that complies "with all the requirements of the revenue laws, to be retailed to purchasers, who destroy the stamp upon opening the package, the construction being such that the packages thus opened can be used as pocket cases for the protection of the cigars" (lines 21-27).

Patent for a new implement "for planting cotton-seed, cultivating the soil, and covering the soil" (lines 14-15) and corn (line 61) including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for a new and improved bridle attachment. This design "consists of a contrivance of nose-clamping strap having end rings through which pass the ends of a chin-strap connected by reign-straps passing through rings of a head-strap of the attachment . . . the invention comprising also a connection of the martingale-straps with the rings of the nose-clamping straps . . . to powerfully check up the horse when required, and also to prevent rearing and plunging" (lines 9-20).

Patent for a new and improved stop for blinds. This design "is to provide a convenient means by which blind-slats may be swung on their pivots, so as to open or close to the extent desired" (lines 8-11).

Patent for a postcard that hold coins. This can be used to transport or collect coins.

Patent for bailing press including improvements in the compressor, feeder, and plunger-actuating mechanisms.

Patent for an acetylene-gas generator that provides an apparatus in which the parts may be readily detached for convenience in making repairs.

A pulsed laser is provided wherein the B-integral accumulated in the laser pulse is reduced using a semiconductor wafer. A laser pulse is generated by a laser pulse source. The laser pulse passes through a semiconductor wafer that has a negative nonlinear index of refraction. Thus, the laser pulse accumulates a negative B-integral. The laser pulse is then fed into a laser amplification medium, which has a positive nonlinear index of refraction. The laser pulse may make a plurality of passes through the laser amplification medium and accumulate a positive B-integral during a positive non-linear phase change. The semiconductor and laser pulse wavelength are chosen such that the negative B-integral accumulated in the semiconductor wafer substantially cancels the positive B-integral accumulated in the laser amplification medium. There may be additional accumulation of positive B-integral if the laser pulse passes through additional optical mediums such as a lens or glass plates. Thus , the effects of self-phase modulation in the laser pulse are substantially reduced.

Patent for a womb-battery that has "an advantageous electrical or galvanic device adapted, when placed in the womb of a patient where it will be subject to the chemical action of the mucous fluid, to develop a mild electric action and thereby stimulate the generative organs and promote the cure of the various diseases peculiar to the female sex" (lines 13-20). It also is not easily displaced and is easily adjusted.

Patent for a new and improved windmill. This design "consists in the construction and novel arrangement of the radial arms of the wheel-frame and the vertical pivot-posts thereon, the sails or fans pivoted to said posts, the pivoted detents, and the pivoted governing-levers to which said detents are connected, said levers carrying adjustable weights" (lines 16-23).

Patent for a well-drill swivel designed to improve the function of a well-drilling apparatus. The improved swivel is meant to create a better connection between rod and rope and prevent twisting of water-supply.

Patent for sulky plow improvements plow beams, pivot studs, and plow frame.

Patent for improvements in rotary engines.

Patent for a pump design that allows for the pump barrel to be securely locked in position in the well and easily released again when the parts need to be removed again.

Patent for a pumping engine that pumps air, water, oil, or other agents. It was designed to be used for air pumps on locomotives, inflating tires on automobiles, pumping water in steam operated machines, and other uses.

Patent for the tying of mail into bundles. The invention is adjustable and allows for mail of various widths.

Patent for " a improved steam-separating trap or steam-eliminator for obtaining a supply of dry steam to an engine or like machinery" (lines 7-10 including instructions and illustrations.

Patent for an inexpensive and simple plow attachment meant to convert the single foot plow stock into a double shovel plow or a gang plow. The attachment is adjustable in order to "straddle the rows to be cultivated; and finally, means for adjusting the standards of the plow whereby the same are adapted to run at any desired depth" (lines 16-20).

Patent for improvements in motors designed for motor-vehicle operation. Cheaper manufacture and less expensive fuel are included as claimed improvements.
