Photograph of Soil Conservation Service [SCS] Andy Costner stands in excellent growth of Sericea Lespedeza on Soil Bank Land. There is competition from weeds and sprouts here. When the land is returned to production this field will be ready as hay and seed. This can be turned under and planted to other crops and reap the benefit of the soil building effect of the sericea.
