Loan Exhibits of American Judaica

Pamphlet containing a list of documents and pictures that any institution in the United States or Canada can loan out for exhibit purposes. The items in this list are very helpful in stimulating interest in the history of the North American Jew. These pieces can be requested for a total of two weeks free of charge, save for the return postage. The pamphlet highlights how to request items and lists a description of all 62 items available to be loaned as part of this collection.

Letter from Harris Leon Kempner to Jane Herrera explaining that Parkland Apartments is owned by no one but is in fact, funded by the Federal Housing Authority. Kempner further explains that a recent incident at Parkland that involved a group of children, some of which being Herrera's children, was not a result of discrimination at Parkland, but a simple incident of children quarreling that became something more once parents were involved. Kempner discusses Parkland having a policy against discrimination and the efforts put in place to ensure equality amongst tenants.
