Patent related to switch throwing mechanisms, specifically for vehicles. This switch throwing mechanism allows the operator of the vehicle to properly conduct the switch without stopping the vehicle.

Patent for "a machine for resurfacing roads or preparing new roads" (lines 9-10). Machine includes an adjustable scraper to aid in leveling of the roadway and compresses the edges of the roads using drags or shoes. The machine is adaptable to aid in road construction "depending upon the nature and condition of the road's surface" (lines 16-17).
