Stock Car.
Patent for a new and improved animal stalls in stock cars. This design "has for its object to provide these stalls in such a manner that they can be readily and cheaply applied to and removed from the cars; and it also has for its further object to provide for rendering the stall-partitions laterally yielding or elastic, and yet under such a degree of tension as to withstand or resist the movements of the animals" (lines 11-18).
