On February 4 it made a test run to Wichita Falls over FW&D rails (right) with an SD7, four boxcars and a caboose. After de-bugging at Wichita Falls, it returned on a train that approximated the weight of the Freedom Train ahead of two MOP Bicentennial diesels to run from Austin to Houston.
