Pressbook documenting art events in Abilene, Texas, from 1942 to 1943 with emphasis on those of the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs Sixth District. This pressbook won honorable mention in the statewide contest sponsored by the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs for communities promoting art. The first page includes a certificate of membership in the Art Forum and a listing of membership, officers and committees. One of the highlights of the year was an exhibit of Military Art by Corporal Samuel Smith at the Abilene Fine Arts Museum. Most of the clippings focus on local art events and document member activities supporting the war effort.
