This pressbook won honorable mention in the statewide contest sponsored by the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs for communities promoting art. The first page includes a certificate of membership in the Art Forum and a listing of membership, officers and committees. One of the highlights of the year was an exhibit of Military Art by Corporal Samuel Smith at the Abilene Fine Arts Museum.
