Styled as a boater or "Pamela hat", the low, domed crown is of stiffened light brown net, overlaid with light brown felt circles of various sizes, and irregular band around the lower edge. At back is a bow, secured under a strap of the felt, made of lighter brown/beige satin tube ribbon. The brim is of the same felt, curling up at outer edge, banded at outer edge in the same satin tube ribbon. The hat is unlined, with inner light brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. Hat of royal blue velveteen felt. Somewhat in the cloche style, the hat consists of a cylindrical crown tapering slightly to the flat top. The sides of the hat are covered in a wide band of same fabric which wraps around hat and secures in a giant square buckle covered in same fabric. Hat is unlined, with black grosgrain inner hatband. Designer's label sewn to inner hatband: "Hazel Eller - Custom Made" Stamped inside crown: "Borsalino / Antica Casa"

Hat of black, white, and silver artificial straw. Somewhat in a pillbox style, the cylindrical crown has a flattened top with a slight "overhang" on all sides, and is designed with the straw couched down on the top, running in parallel bands of color from side to side. Sides of crown covered in 2" wide band of shiny black vinyl like patent leather, with a swallow-tail pennant segment extending from the back of the hat. Lined in white fabric. Label sewn to back of inner headband: "Sally Victor / Headlines" Tag attached to label: "55₵"

Hat of dull golden horsehair mesh over wire framework. Cylindrical crown widening to base of horsehair constructed in a spiral, on wire armature. Side of crown with wide black velvet band with self bow at back. Slightly oval brim of same horsehair set so sides are wider than front or back. Brim slopes slightly from crown to outer rim, with thin wire framework to retain shape. Attached at sides are sprays of artificial flowers and leaves. Underside of brim lined with gathered extremely fine pale chiffon. Crown has inner rigid structure that extends below brim, creating a "support" that rests on wearer's head. Exterior of inner structure lined with black velvet, inner lining of white fabric with "drawstring" center gather. No labels or tags.

Hat of woven pink straw. In the "Flower-pot" style, the hat has a tall, cylindrical crown, flattened at top. At base of crown is a wide band pleated pink chiffon which has a cross-over in back and bow in front. At front are affixed artificial pink chiffon-like roses with green leaves and stems. The brim of the hat curves down and curls under at edge, but is covered by layers of matching pink chiffon. The hat is unlined, with inner pink grosgrain ribbon hatband. Accompanied by one plain hat pin. Label sewn to inner ribbon band: "Miss / Eileen".
