Toque style hat of black velvet and black ottoman (wide ribbed fabric). Flat top of crown in ribbed fabric. Sides are 7-1/4" tall and crushes down over head. Top sides of velvet. Hat of light brown felt and net. Styled as a boater or "Pamela hat", the low, domed crown is of stiffened light brown net, overlaid with light brown felt circles of various sizes, and irregular band around the lower edge. At back is a bow, secured under a strap of the felt, made of lighter brown/beige satin tube ribbon. The brim is of the same felt, curling up at outer edge, banded at outer edge in the same satin tube ribbon. The hat is unlined, with inner light brown grosgrain ribbon hatband. Hat of royal blue velveteen felt. Somewhat in the cloche style, the hat consists of a cylindrical crown tapering slightly to the flat top. The sides of the hat are covered in a wide band of same fabric which wraps around hat and secures in a giant square buckle covered in same fabric. Hat is unlined, with black grosgrain inner hatband. Hat of black, white, and silver artificial straw. Somewhat in a pillbox style, the cylindrical crown has a flattened top with a slight "overhang" on all sides, and is designed with the straw couched down on the top, running in parallel bands of color from side to side. Sides of crown covered in 2" wide band of shiny black vinyl like patent leather, with a swallow-tail pennant segment extending from the back of the hat. Lined in white fabric. Label sewn to back of inner headband: "Sally Victor / Headlines" Tag attached to label: "55₵"
