There are several men in white dress shirts sitting in chairs on the front lawn, and one of the men is pictured translucently in several different spots (due to long-exposure photography). There are handwritten notes around the photograph, reading: "Here we are stopping, a kiss from Papa, Apr 7-08." The back of the postcard is blank except for postcard markings.

The front of the postcard features a photograph of Holy Angels Academy in Boerne, Texas, a two-story building with wrap-around porches on both stories. There is a small tower extending from the center of the roof of the building, with a cross-shaped spire at the top. There are a few short steps leading up to the first-story porch and the front door to the academy. There are several trees surrounding the building, obscuring much of the second-story.
